Graeme Benny
Organisation: Careers New Zealand, New Zealand
Presentation: Building an excellent careers system for New Zealand. Moving form organisational transformation to systemic transformation.
Bio: Dr Graeme Benny became the Chief Executive of Careers New Zealand in November 2010. He has an academic background in biochemistry and microbiology, including a PhD in clinical biochemistry from Auckland University. He has worked for organisations as diverse as an animal pharmaceuticals and therapeutics supplier, a US-based biotech company, the Auckland District Health Board, the New Zealand Blood Service and the New Zealand Defence Force.

Sandeepan Mukherjee
Organisation: Tata Steel, India
Presentation: Aiming Business Excellence & Benchmark Effects through Strategic Planning & Deployment at Coke Sinter & Iron Division – Tata Steel.
Bio: Born at Jamshedpur (India), Sandeepan has Master’s degree in Mathematics & MBA. He is presently working as Sr. Manager Improvement in Coke Sinter & Iron division of Tata steel & driving improvement initiatives. He has worked in Blast Furnaces & Coke Plants using stamp charge technology during the past 19 years in Tatasteel. He is a regular contributor of papers for publication in technical journals. To his credit, he has the following papers published in national & international conferences & technical journals.
Sandeepan has experience of presenting papers in national & international conferences such as ANQ Conference at Newdelhi (India) in 2010 and Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) in 2011. He is a regular faculty for technical & managerial sessions at Shavak Nanavati Technical Institute at Tata Steel.

Jenni Murphy-Scanlon
Organisation: Strategies Direct Limited, New Zealand
Presentation: How to Coach Yourself and Others to Think Strategically.
Bio: Jenni Murphy-Scanlon is an author, consultant and trainer who specialises in strategy, strategic thinking and succession planning. She commenced her career in Chartered Accountancy, followed by management accounting in the commercial sector and then auditing in the Government sector. She then moved into Learning and Development, followed by Organisational Development, where she has over 18 years experience. Jenni now coaches and trains managers – from front-line to senior executives – and facilitates strategy and planning processes for a range of clients.
Jenni has a global database of managerial and professional clients for whom she writes e-books, e-guides and related products. She is a regular columnist in QNewz, the professional journal of the NZ Organisation for Quality and has published articles about strategic thinking in the professional journals of the NZ Law Society, NZ Assocation for Training and Development (NZATD) and NZ Surveyors Association.

Chris Pope

Presentation: “It’s All About the Benefits” – How to integrate benefits realisation into your governance practices – from portfolio prioritisation to planning and delivery.
Bio: Chris Pope has spent the past 15 years combining project management and business leadership expertise with a pragmatic approach to rescue projects and business units in crisis, manage complex enterprise-wide information technology projects and streamlined business processes. He has spent the last four years managing a PMO, with a specific focus on improving how the portfolio delivers benefits to the organisation through governance, delivery practices, and reporting.
His industry experience includes Airline, Management Consulting, Local Government, Healthcare, Telecom, Internet, and Non-Profit.
